How did this happen?

Ecobuilders became involved with NOLA100 through it’s relationship with the US Green Building Council. NOLA 100 is charged with 100 days of intense effort to get as many homeowners as possible back to environmentally sustainable and efficient houses in the Lower Ninth Ward of New Orleans, an area that was widely depicted in the news in the days, weeks, and months following Hurricane Katrina. The folks involved with NOLA 100 wanted to make every effort to make the homes involved as green as possible. This underlying goal made for a good fit with Ecobuilders’ consulting services. Ecobuilders visited the project in New Orleans and developed a report that included green renovation guidelines for greenovating flood ravaged homes in New Orleans on a tight budget.
